St. Joseph, MO – Child Injured in E-Bike Accident on Noyes Blvd

St. Joseph, MO (September 10, 2024) – A child riding an e-bike suffered injuries after being struck by a vehicle near the 1400 block of Noyes Blvd on Monday afternoon. Around 3 p.m., the boy was riding south on the sidewalk when a vehicle exiting a driveway alley hit him.

The driver, unable to see the boy due to a blind spot, was coming up the angled alley. Officer Josiah Lowry confirmed the accident was minor and caused by limited visibility. Buchanan County EMS responded to the scene, but the child was not transported to the hospital.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and will provide updates as the inquiry progresses.
