St. George, UT (November 10, 2024) – Two occupants of a Toyota Tundra were hospitalized with serious injuries following a collision with an SUV on Saturday, November 9. The crash occurred just before 3 p.m. on northbound State Route 7 near milepost 15.
According to Utah Highway Patrol Cpl. Jared Heywood, the incident happened when the driver of the SUV, traveling ahead of the pickup truck, attempted a U-turn. The Tundra collided with the SUV, resulting in significant damage to the pickup truck.
The driver and passenger of the Tundra were transported to St. George Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The occupants of the SUV were uninjured.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash to determine contributing factors.
