St. Francois, MO (October 23, 2024) – A serious vehicle accident occurred on Tuesday, October 22, at approximately 4:28 p.m. on US-67 Northbound at Hildebrecht Road. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene following reports of the incident.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the collision involved two vehicles. A 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander, driven by 43-year-old Brandy N. Kennon from Farmington, MO, sustained extensive damage and was towed by Boyd’s Towing. Kennon was not wearing a safety device at the time of the accident and was transported to Parkland Health Center by St. Francois County Ambulance District with moderate injuries.
The second vehicle involved was a 2022 GMC Terrain, driven by 64-year-old Tammy K. Crews, also from Farmington, MO. This vehicle also sustained extensive damage and was towed by Marler’s Towing. Crews was wearing her seatbelt and was similarly transported to Parkland Health Center with moderate injuries.
According to the accident report, the driver of the GMC Terrain failed to keep a proper lookout and attempted to cross US-67. As a result, the front of the Mitsubishi Outlander struck the side of the GMC Terrain, leading to the collision.
