Hit-and-Run Accidents in Missouri
Hit-and-run accidents, like the one on MO-221, present unique challenges for both victims and law enforcement. Missouri drivers are legally required to remain at the scene of a crash to exchange information and assist injured parties when necessary. Unfortunately, drivers who flee the scene make it more difficult for victims to secure compensation for damages and injuries.
Victims of hit-and-run accidents are encouraged to seek immediate medical attention, document as many details about the incident as possible, and contact authorities to aid in the investigation. Consulting professionals can also help victims explore insurance claims and legal options for pursuing justice.
