St. Charles, MO (January 5, 2025) – A multi-vehicle accident occurred late Friday afternoon at the intersection of Route A and Pitman Road. Emergency responders were called to the scene around 4:34 p.m. following reports of a collision involving three vehicles.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened when a 2007 Buick Rendezvous, driven by a 76-year-old man from Wentzville, MO, failed to yield at a stop sign while attempting to make a left turn. The front of a northbound 2020 Nissan Kicks collided with the left side of the Buick. The impact caused the Buick to skid, striking the front of a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado traveling behind the Nissan.
The driver of the Buick sustained moderate injuries and was transported by the St. Charles County Ambulance District to SSM Lake St. Louis for medical care. No other injuries were reported, although the Nissan Kicks and Buick Rendezvous suffered total damage and were towed from the scene by Superior Towing. The Chevrolet Silverado sustained minor damage and was driven from the crash site.
