St. Albans, NY (October 24, 2024) – A tragic house fire occurred on Thursday morning at approximately 8:45 a.m. at 195-1 Hollis Avenue, resulting in the death of a 56-year-old woman. Emergency responders were alerted to the scene following reports of the fire.
According to police, the woman was trapped on the second floor when the fire broke out. Firefighters arrived promptly and discovered her unconscious. Despite their efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene. Fortunately, no other injuries were reported in connection with this incident.
