Rear-End Collisions in Missouri
Rear-end collisions are a common type of accident on Missouri roads, often occurring due to distracted driving, following too closely, or failing to recognize slowing or stopped traffic. Highways like US 160, with busy traffic flow, are especially prone to such incidents.
Missouri law requires drivers to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle ahead to allow sufficient reaction time. When following too closely, even minor distractions can lead to accidents that impact multiple lives, particularly when young children are involved.
Victims of rear-end crashes often face challenges related to medical expenses, emotional distress, and financial burdens. Accessing appropriate resources and understanding legal rights is essential for a successful recovery process.
