Motorcycle Accidents in Missouri
Missouri highways, including I-44, see frequent motorcycle accidents, many of which result in serious injuries. Due to their smaller size and reduced protection compared to passenger vehicles, motorcycles are highly vulnerable in collisions, especially those involving higher speeds.
Rear-end crashes involving motorcycles can be particularly dangerous, as riders often sustain direct impact injuries. Even when wearing proper safety gear, motorcyclists may suffer broken bones, road rash, or head trauma. Speeding, distracted driving, and sudden braking can all contribute to such incidents, making defensive driving critical for both motorcyclists and other road users.
Victims of motorcycle crashes may face significant medical expenses, time away from work, and physical recovery challenges. Understanding legal rights and available compensation options is important in navigating the aftermath of an accident.
