Springfield, MA (February 1, 2025) – A tragic pedestrian accident in Springfield resulted in the death of one individual, according to local authorities.
Springfield Police Spokesperson Ryan Walsh reported that officers responded to the 1300 block of Bay St at approximately 7:10 p.m. following a call about a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian.
Emergency responders arrived quickly and provided urgent medical care to the victim before transporting him to Baystate Medical Center. Unfortunately, the individual later succumbed to his injuries.
