August 31, two people sustained injuries in a pedestrian accident on N Country Homes Blvd. The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office reported that the victims were attempting to repair their broken-down car when a northbound vehicle struck them and their car. Both individuals were injured and transported to the hospital. The severity of their injuries remains undisclosed.

The occupants of the vehicle that struck them were not injured in the incident.
