Statewide, intersections and high-traffic areas like those near the I-26 corridor frequently become hotspots for collisions. According to the South Carolina Department of Public Safety, there are thousands of multi-car accidents annually, many of which are attributed to factors such as failure to yield, distracted driving, and adverse weather conditions.
