Silver Spring, MD (February 4, 2025) – A house fire broke out in the 2000 block of Glen Ross Rd in the Montgomery Hills area near 2nd Ave early Monday morning, resulting in one person being transported to the hospital.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to the scene around 3:28 a.m. with multiple units, including fire engines, ladder trucks, and emergency medical teams. Fire crews encountered flames on the first floor of the residence and worked quickly to bring the fire under control.
Emergency medical personnel evaluated and transported one civilian to the hospital with Priority 2 (non-life-threatening) injuries. No additional injuries were reported among residents or firefighters.
