Sherman, TX (December 17, 2024) – A house fire at the Villas of Sherman Senior Living Community on Monday morning left one person injured, requiring emergency transport to a Dallas-area hospital for burn treatment.
According to Sherman Fire Chief Billy Hartsfield, the fire broke out around 10:00 AM and was quickly extinguished by responding crews. The fire was contained to a single room, causing minimal property damage. However, one individual sustained burns and required immediate medical attention.
