Shawnee, OK (March 4, 2025) – A tragic accident on State Highway 3E in Pottawatomie County claimed one life and left two drivers injured over the weekend. The crash occurred just before midnight on Tuesday, approximately two miles east of Shawnee.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP), two vehicles collided on the highway, resulting in severe injuries. Both drivers were transported to a hospital in Oklahoma City for treatment, though their current conditions have not been disclosed.
A passenger in one of the vehicles sustained critical injuries and was transported to a hospital in Shawnee, where they later succumbed to their injuries. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased.
