Shavertown, PA (February 12, 2025) – Emergency crews responded to a vehicle crash with multiple reported injuries on Memorial Highway at E Center St just before 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
Shavertown Engine and Squad, along with Medic 30, were initially dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, 251 Deputy assessed the situation and requested an additional EMS unit (M33) due to multiple individuals reporting injuries. Fire crews from 251 Engine and Squad assisted with fluid control, debris cleanup, and traffic management while medics treated the injured.
The number of vehicles involved and the extent of injuries have not been fully disclosed. Officials are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
