Shaft, MD (December 16, 2024) – Emergency responders from Shaft Fire Department, including Shaft Rescue-Engine 17, quickly arrived at the scene of a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 68 EB at the 31mm, involving 16 victims. The accident, which occurred on Monday, prompted a swift response from local agencies.
The victims sustained a variety of injuries, and emergency personnel worked quickly to assess and treat those hurt. Five individuals were transported to local medical facilities for further treatment.
