Semmes, AL (November 24, 2024) – A tragic head-on collision early Saturday morning claimed the life of a 19-year-old Citronelle man and left a 17-year-old injured. The crash occurred at approximately 12:10 a.m. on Alabama 217 near mile marker 13, about three miles north of Semmes.
According to authorities, Nolan J. McDavid, 19, of Citronelle, was driving a Ford Focus when it collided head-on with a Chevy Impala operated by a 17-year-old. McDavid was pronounced deceased at the scene, while the 17-year-old was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.
