Seguin, TX (October 17, 2024) – A tragic motorcycle accident occurred early Wednesday morning at approximately 6:15 a.m. on West Kingsbury Street at Fleming Drive, resulting in the death of a 20-year-old motorcyclist. The Seguin Police Department reported that the young man was unresponsive when emergency responders arrived at the scene of the crash.
According to preliminary investigations, the victim was traveling east on West Kingsbury Street on his motorcycle when he collided with a 2018 Nissan Rogue. The driver of the Nissan, a 53-year-old woman, was attempting to cross West Kingsbury Street northbound when the collision occurred, striking the driver’s side of her vehicle.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) from Seguin responded promptly and initiated life-saving measures at the scene. The motorcyclist was transported to Guadalupe Regional Medical Center, where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
Local authorities are investigating the cause of the crash. Both drivers involved were residents of Seguin or the surrounding area, but their identities have not yet been released.
