Scott County, MO (January 26, 2025) – A serious single-vehicle crash occurred late Saturday night at the intersection of County Rd 450 and County Rd 452, approximately two miles south of Vanduser. The accident, reported at around 10:50 p.m., is under investigation by Corporal B.A. Pratt (535), assisted by Trooper W.A. Wadlington (558).
According to initial reports, a 2008 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by a 28-year-old female from Sikeston, MO, was traveling westbound when it left the roadway after passing through the intersection. The vehicle struck an embankment, resulting in significant damage and ultimately being deemed a total loss. Satterfield’s Wrecker service removed the vehicle from the scene.
Three individuals sustained injuries in the crash. A 24-year-old female passenger from Sikeston suffered serious injuries and was transported by EMS to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. The driver, who was wearing a safety device, sustained minor injuries and was also transported to the same hospital by EMS. Another passenger, a 35-year-old female from Troy, TN, suffered minor injuries and was transported to the hospital by private conveyance.
