Bicycle Safety and Fatal Crashes in Missouri

Tragic collisions like this one on Highway U underscore the vulnerability of bicyclists on roadways, particularly in rural areas with limited visibility or inadequate cycling infrastructure. Such incidents highlight the need for both drivers and cyclists to exercise heightened caution and awareness.

In cases involving fatal crashes, Missouri law allows surviving family members to pursue wrongful death claims to seek compensation for funeral expenses, loss of companionship, and other damages. Taking legal action requires prompt documentation of the incident and consultation with experienced legal professionals.
