Savannah, GA (October 14, 2024) – A tragic plane crash occurred in a residential area of Savannah on Sunday night, resulting in the death of the pilot and injuries to a passenger. The incident took place around 10 PM near East 66th Street, approximately three miles south of the city’s historic landmark district.
According to the Savannah Police Department, the pilot was pronounced deceased at the scene, while the passenger sustained minor injuries.
