Sauk Centre, MN (November 2, 2024) – A single-vehicle accident occurred early this morning on Interstate 94, resulting in injuries to multiple occupants. At approximately 2:19 a.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the scene near Milepost 128 in Sauk Centre Township, Stearns County.
According to preliminary reports, a 2015 Subaru Forester was traveling westbound on I-94 when the driver, Gregory Dalge, lost control of the vehicle. The Subaru veered into the ditch and subsequently rolled over. Fortunately, the road conditions were dry at the time of the incident, which may have contributed to the circumstances of the accident.
Emergency services from the Sauk Centre Police Department, Fire and Rescue, and Ambulance responded promptly to the scene. The vehicle’s airbag deployed during the rollover, indicating the severity of the impact. All four individuals involved in the accident sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to St. Cloud Hospital for medical evaluation and treatment.
The driver, Gregory Dalge, a 29-year-old male from Fargo, ND, was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident. His passengers included Leonard Charles, a 40-year-old female from Moorhead, MN, who was not wearing a seatbelt, and two males from Fargo, Cadet Dimy, aged 36, and Jephte Maximilien, aged 31, both of whom were secured in their seatbelts. Alcohol involvement is currently unknown for one passenger, while the driver and other passengers had no alcohol in their systems.
