Santa Fe Springs, CA (February 5, 2025) – A multi-vehicle collision involving two big rigs and a passenger vehicle resulted in a fatality on eastbound State Route 60 near the Hacienda Blvd off-ramp on Tuesday morning.
According to reports, the crash occurred around 11:08 a.m., blocking multiple lanes of traffic. Emergency crews arrived at the scene and confirmed that one individual had suffered fatal injuries. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office was notified and dispatched to the location.
Authorities reported that two white semi-trucks and a box truck were involved in the crash, with at least one driver initially trapped inside their vehicle. The accident blocked the No. 2, 3, 4, and 5 lanes, leaving only the HOV and No. 1 lanes open. Traffic was severely impacted as officials worked to clear the wreckage and conduct an investigation.
