Pedestrian Accidents in California
Pedestrian accidents remain a significant issue in California, particularly at intersections like Bethel Ave and Almond Ave, where drivers may fail to yield to pedestrians or react in time to avoid a collision.
Common causes of pedestrian crashes include:
- Failure to yield at crosswalks
- Distracted or speeding drivers
- Low visibility at night
- Unsafe road or intersection conditions
Pedestrian fatalities are especially tragic, as victims often have little protection against the force of an oncoming vehicle. When such accidents occur, investigators work to determine if driver negligence, poor lighting, or other factors contributed to the crash.
