San Jose, CA (September 12, 2024) – A pedestrian was killed early Thursday morning in an accident on NB 101 near Story Rd. The incident occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m. when a semi-truck reportedly struck a person kneeling in the slow lane. Emergency responders arrived to find the individual lying on the fog line. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

Several lanes were closed as authorities investigated and cleared the area, with all lanes reopening by 6:28 a.m. The identity of the pedestrian has not been released.
