San Antonio, TX (September 2, 2024) – Six children suffered severe injuries after being ejected from an SUV on Sunday evening, September 1. The incident occurred on Interstate 35 when the vehicle’s tire blew out, causing it to crash into a tree.
San Antonio Police reported that the children, aged 2 to 11, were not wearing seat belts. Two adults and a seventh child, who remained secured in the vehicle, were also hospitalized.
The SUV, believed to be a mid-2000s model, carried nine passengers at the time. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the crash.
