According to police, a 39-year-old woman driving a white Jeep was stopped at a red light on the 100 block of St. Cloud, intending to travel south. Simultaneously, a white Silverado with two occupants was heading northwest on the 600 block of Bandera Rd when it ran the red light and collided with the Jeep.
The force of the crash redirected the Silverado into the eastbound lanes of Bandera Rd, where it struck a black Kia occupied by an 84-year-old man and an 89-year-old woman. Following the collision, the driver of the Silverado fled the scene on foot, abandoning their 24-year-old passenger and failing to assist the injured victims.
