Salt Lake City, UT (September 5, 2024) – Three people were injured early Thursday morning, September 5, when two vehicles crashed at the UTA rail line on westbound North Temple and 2200 West. The Utah Department of Transportation reported the incident occurred shortly before 5 a.m.
Salt Lake City police confirmed two individuals sustained minor injuries, while the condition of the third person has not been disclosed.
The crash temporarily closed two westbound lanes on North Temple and disrupted Green Line service from North Temple to the Salt Lake City International Airport.
