Salt Lake City, UT (September 17, 2024) – A 25-year-old man, Alonzo Ganga, was arrested for driving under the influence after crashing into three Salt Lake City police cars early Tuesday morning, September 16. The incident occurred at 1:06 a.m. on 700 East when Ganga struck a parked patrol car providing traffic control for another DUI investigation.

The impact caused a chain reaction, damaging three patrol cars. An officer and the driver from the initial investigation, a 47-year-old woman, were injured and treated at a hospital before being released.
