Saint Peter, MN (September 15, 2024) – A serious pedestrian accident occurred on northbound Hwy 169 at Jefferson St at 1:37 PM. Debbie Lee Davis, 68, sustained life-threatening injuries after being hit by a Nissan Cargo Van. The driver, Brandon Bradley Vonessen, 36, was unharmed. He was wearing a seatbelt, and alcohol was not involved in the incident.

Davis was promptly transported to HCMC for emergency care. The Saint Peter Police Department, alongside local fire services and Nicollet CSO, responded to the scene. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
