Rosendale, WI (September 18, 2024) – A man was seriously injured in a car and motorcycle crash in the town of Rosendale on Tuesday night, September 17. The Fond du Lac County Communications Center received a 911 call at around 9:16 p.m., reporting the accident on State 23. The motorcyclist, a 35-year-old Ripon man, reportedly could not feel his legs after the crash, and the driver of the car, a 35-year-old Malone woman, suffered neck and back pain.
Initial investigations revealed that the motorcyclist was traveling westbound on State 23 when the car struck him from behind. The force of the collision threw the motorcyclist off the bike, and authorities noted he was not wearing a helmet. ThedaStar Medical Helicopter transported the motorcyclist to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah for treatment of his serious injuries, while the woman was taken by Ripon Ambulance to SSM Health Ripon Community Hospital for minor injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
