Roodhouse, IL (December 17, 2024) – Illinois State Police (ISP) are investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 11:02 AM on White Hall Road, about two miles east of Illinois Route 267. The collision sent two individuals to the hospital via airlift due to the severity of their injuries.
According to ISP, a woman from White Hall was driving east on White Hall Road when her vehicle crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a westbound vehicle driven by a woman from Carrollton. Both drivers sustained serious injuries, and they were flown to nearby hospitals for treatment. Their identities have not yet been released.
The White Hall woman has been cited for driving left of center, particularly near a hill where visibility may have been limited. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and authorities are working to determine the exact factors that led to the collision.
