Pedestrian Accidents in Michigan
Pedestrian-involved crashes, especially in rural areas like County Road 451, can result in devastating injuries. Poor visibility, lack of proper lighting, and the high speeds of off-road vehicles like dirt bikes all contribute to serious accidents.
Michigan law requires motorized vehicles, including dirt bikes operated on public roads, to have proper lighting and adhere to traffic safety regulations. Pedestrians crossing rural roads, even when taking precautions such as using flashlights, are at significant risk if approaching drivers fail to see them or react in time.
Victims of pedestrian accidents often face extensive medical treatments, rehabilitation, and financial hardships. In cases where negligence is a factor, injured parties may have legal options to seek compensation for medical expenses, lost wages, and pain and suffering.
