Rockville, MD (September 26, 2024) – A tragic pedestrian accident occurred in Rockville on September 24, 2024, at approximately 9:12 p.m. Police responded to the intersection of Hungerford Road and Beall Avenue after reports of a collision involving a pedestrian. Upon arrival, officers discovered 61-year-old Jose Rene Del Cid Ramos, who had been struck by a vehicle.
Emergency responders transported Del Cid Ramos to a local hospital for medical treatment; however, he sadly succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival. The investigation revealed that a Nissan Maxima was traveling on Hungerford Road when it struck Del Cid Ramos. Fortunately, the driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with law enforcement as they conduct their investigation.
