Wrong-Way Collisions in New Jersey

Wrong-way crashes are among the most dangerous types of accidents, often leading to fatal or severe injuries due to the force of head-on impacts. Interstates like I-80 in Rockaway Township see high traffic volumes and even a brief moment of confusion or impairment can have devastating consequences.

Common causes of wrong-way crashes include driver impairment, fatigue, and confusion at highway exits. These accidents often result in catastrophic injuries, leaving victims and their families to deal with medical expenses, funeral costs, and emotional trauma.

If you or a loved one has been affected by a wrong-way crash, understanding your legal rights is crucial. In many cases, victims and their families may be entitled to compensation for medical bills, lost wages, and other damages. Consulting with professionals who understand New Jersey’s traffic laws can help those impacted navigate their next steps.
