Robinson Twp, MI (January 12, 2025) – A tragic accident occurred Saturday morning when a pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Robinson Township. The incident was reported around 6:45 a.m. near the intersection of Green Street and 144th Avenue, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies determined that a 30-year-old Grand Haven man was walking on Green Street when he was hit by an eastbound Ford pickup truck. The driver, a 60-year-old Grand Haven man, told authorities that he was unable to see the pedestrian due to heavy snowfall at the time of the crash.
Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. The driver remained at the location and cooperated with the investigation. Authorities continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
