Ripley Twp, MN (December 30, 2024) – An early morning collision on Highway 371 at 223rd St in Ripley Township, Morrison County, resulted in one individual sustaining non-life-threatening injuries. The accident involved a box truck and a Chevrolet Silverado.
The incident occurred at approximately 2:35 AM today. According to reports, a box truck traveling northbound on Highway 371 began to fishtail, causing it to overturn and block both lanes of the highway. Shortly thereafter, a Chevrolet Silverado collided with the overturned truck near the intersection with 223rd St.
Emergency responders from Morrison County, Little Falls Police Department, Camp Ripley Security, Little Falls Fire Department, and Mayo Ambulance arrived promptly to provide assistance. The driver of the Chevrolet Silverado, 33-year-old Anthony Thomas Brill of Fort Ripley, MN, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Little Falls Hospital for treatment.
