Redwood City, CA (February 13, 2025) – A collision involving a semi-truck and another vehicle occurred late Thursday night on northbound U.S. Highway 101 near the Ellis Street on-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The crash was reported at approximately 9:47 p.m., with emergency responders dispatched to the scene. One individual sustained injuries and was transported to Stanford Hospital for treatment. CHP described the injuries as minor in extent.
Traffic was impacted as authorities conducted a temporary closure to manage the accident scene. Reports indicate that debris was scattered across the roadway, and a tow truck was requested to assist with vehicle removal. However, all lanes were reopened by 10:15 p.m.
CHP is continuing its investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
