Redwood City, CA (December 21, 2024) – A fatal traffic collision occurred early Saturday morning on US-101 N, just south of the Whipple Ave off-ramp. The collision resulted in significant traffic disruptions as lanes 1, 2, and 3 were blocked, with only lane 5 open to traffic.
Emergency responders, including California Highway Patrol (CHP), San Mateo County Fire Department, and the coroner, were dispatched to the scene. Reports indicate that the collision involved a Subaru Forester and necessitated a hard closure for several hours as authorities investigated the incident.
