Raynham, MA (January 1, 2025) – A tragic crash on East Britannia St claimed the lives of two individuals and left a third with life-threatening injuries on Monday night. The incident occurred just before 9:30 PM and is under investigation by both Massachusetts State Police and Raynham Police.
Authorities report that the vehicle involved went airborne before striking a nearby tree. The driver, Averi Costa-Burton, 26, of Fall River, was ejected from the car and later pronounced dead at Morton Hospital. A front-seat passenger, Dorryn Robinson, 28, of New Bedford, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second passenger, who was in the back seat, sustained life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to Rhode Island Hospital for emergency treatment. The identity and condition of this passenger have not been released.
