Queen Valley, AZ (December 24, 2024) – A 23-year-old passenger lost their life in a tragic crash Monday afternoon on US 60 near milepost 215 in the East Valley. The Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) continues to investigate the incident.
According to DPS, a black SUV was stopped on the side of the roadway and reportedly turned into the path of an oncoming white pickup truck. The collision pushed the SUV off the road, while the truck vaulted into a nearby wash.
Both drivers sustained serious injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment. Sadly, a passenger in the truck, identified as Talaura Rhyann Frost of Snowflake, was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are working to determine the factors contributing to the crash.
