Pulaski County, MO (February 8, 2025) – A fatal crash on I-44 at the 167-mile marker early Saturday morning resulted in one death and left another individual with minor injuries. The accident took place at 2:05 a.m. when a 2014 Ford Escape struck a guardrail. The impact caused the vehicle to veer across lanes, where it was rear-ended by a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado. A 2025 Kenworth truck also struck the Ford, causing additional damage.

The 47-year-old female driver of the Ford Escape was pronounced dead at the scene by the Pulaski County Coroner. Authorities confirmed that next of kin were notified. The driver of the Silverado, a 20-year-old male, sustained minor injuries but refused treatment at the scene. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
