Prospect Boro, PA (November 12, 2024) – A serious two-vehicle head-on collision occurred Tuesday morning at 1138 New Castle Road near the Fairground Market in Prospect Boro. Emergency crews from Stations 13, 24, and 99 responded to the crash, which was reported at approximately 10:20 AM.
Portable-13 confirmed heavy front-end damage to both vehicles and that the occupants remained inside upon arrival. Rescue efforts led to the evaluation and transport of two individuals. One patient was transported via advanced life support (ALS) to Butler Memorial Hospital (BMH) at 10:56 AM, while another was taken shortly thereafter by 99-2 for further evaluation and treatment.
The crash caused temporary disruptions in the area as crews worked to assist victims and clear the scene. The incident was declared resolved by 11:07 AM.
