Pottsville, PA (September 10, 2024) – A woman tragically died following a crash Monday morning on W Market St in Pottsville. The crash occurred around 6:15 a.m. and involved a vehicle that struck several parked cars. Lisa Mare Dimitri, 37, was driving the vehicle with a child passenger. Both were flown to Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest for their injuries. Dimitri was pronounced dead at 10:23 a.m. at the hospital due to blunt force trauma.

The condition of the child has not been released, and Pottsville Police are still investigating the circumstances of the crash. Further details will be provided as the investigation continues.
