Pottawatomie County, OK (January 13, 2025) – A tragic two-vehicle crash occurred on State Highway 3E, approximately two miles east of Shawnee, leaving one person dead and others injured. The collision happened a few hours before midnight on Friday, January 12th.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, two vehicles collided on the highway under unclear circumstances. Emergency responders transported both drivers to a hospital in Oklahoma City, where they are receiving treatment for multiple injuries. A passenger in one of the vehicles was taken to a hospital in Shawnee, where they sadly succumbed to their injuries. The identities of those involved have not been released.
