Portland, OR (September 7, 2024) – Two separate pedestrian accidents left two individuals critically injured Friday evening, September 6. The first occurred at 8:37 p.m. at SE 158th Ave and SE Division St, where a pedestrian was hit, suffering life-threatening injuries. They were rushed to a hospital, and the driver remained at the scene, cooperating with authorities.

About 30 minutes later, another pedestrian was struck at SE 137th Ave and SE Halsey St. Preliminary reports suggest the person is expected to survive. The driver stayed at the scene and assisted investigators.
