Portageville, MO (February 4, 2025) – A woman was injured Monday morning after her vehicle veered off the roadway and collided with a parked truck on US 61.
The crash occurred at approximately 11:45 a.m., about a quarter-mile north of Portageville. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2013 Honda Accord traveling northbound left the roadway and struck a parked 1997 Chevrolet Silverado. The impact caused total damage to both vehicles.
The driver of the Honda, a 58-year-old woman from Portageville, sustained injuries and was transported by ambulance to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for treatment. No other injuries were reported, and the parked vehicle was left at the scene.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
