Florida’s Interstate Crash Risks
Highway crashes, particularly on I-95, are a common occurrence due to the high volume of traffic, varying speeds, and sudden lane changes near exits. Accidents on exit ramps can be especially dangerous, as vehicles slow down or merge in unpredictable ways, increasing the likelihood of collisions.
According to state data, thousands of accidents occur each year on Florida’s interstates, with many resulting in serious injuries or fatalities. Contributing factors often include driver distraction, speeding, and failure to yield when exiting or merging.
For families affected by fatal crashes, understanding their legal rights is crucial. Compensation may be available to cover medical costs, funeral expenses, and other financial burdens caused by the accident.
