Poplar Bluff, MO (February 1, 2025) – A collision involving a vehicle and a bicyclist on Highway B, two miles east of Poplar Bluff, resulted in serious injuries Friday evening.
At approximately 6:20 p.m., a 26-year-old woman driving a 2006 Dodge Caravan struck a 57-year-old male bicyclist in the roadway. The vehicle sustained moderate damage but was able to be driven from the scene.
Medics and fire crews worked to assist those suffering from injuries. The bicyclist suffered serious injuries and was transported by ground ambulance to St. Francis Medical Center for treatment.
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the circumstances of the crash.
