Polk Township, PA (September 29, 2024) – A tragic accident occurred on the morning of September 28, 2024, at approximately 3:49 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 534 and Upper Middle Creek Road. Pennsylvania State Police reported that a collision resulted in the death of one individual.
According to authorities, 59-year-old Christopher Rossi was traveling west on Upper Middle Creek Road in a Mack truck when he failed to stop at a posted stop sign at the intersection with State Route 534. As a result, Rossi collided with 65-year-old James Bruch, who was traveling east on State Route 534.
Unfortunately, Bruch succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. Emergency responders, including Lehigh Valley Health Network EMS, Polk Township Fire Company, and All Points Towing, assisted at the site of the accident.
